　　GAF, a North American roofing manufacturer, has agreed to acquire Quest Construction Products (QCP), a division of Quest Specialty Chemicals. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

　　According to GAF, the acquisition is reflective of GAF’s commitment to growth and to maintaining excellent brands in commercial roofing and other markets. The acquisition of QCP, a major supplier of fluid-applied roofing systems and coating solutions, will give GAF a larger geographic footprint as well as the resources to offer a broader range of solutions in the marketplace.
