　　The coatings division of BASF has signed a manufacturing agreement with Guangdong Yinfan Chemistry Co., Ltd. (Yinfan). According to this agreement, Yinfan will use BASF formulas and technologies for the production of automotive refinish coatings, targeting the nonpremium segment. Yinfan recently opened a new production plant in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, China that the company says meets stringent quality requirements.

　　“With our significant investment in advanced production systems, our new manufacturing facility strictly adheres to national construction and occupational safety standards, as well as environmental protection requirements,” commented Qingtao Zhang, chairman of Yinfan.
