Washington, D.C., November 19, 2015 — The American Coatings Association (ACA) is pleased to announce that its newly redeveloped website, www.paint.org, is live. ACA’s enhanced website employs a new look, smarter navigation, and simpler, more intuitive organization. These updates are aimed at making ACA information and resources easier to find, with less searching and fewer clicks of the mouse.

In addition, the site now has an interactive page underscoring the important role the paint and coatings industry plays in our national economy. Accessible from the “About Our Industry” tab on the main menu, the “Economic Contributions” page allows users to select from a drop-down menu of U.S. states to display industry statistics, including number of employees, wages, payroll, number of establishments, and exports. Visitors may also sort this information by ranking.

A new section dedicated to the association’s flagship publication, CoatingsTech magazine, is also debuting on the site. CoatingsTech delivers high quality content on major industry updates, science and technology solutions, legislative and regulatory news, and market insights. This section of the website not only features highlights from the current issue, but exclusive online-only content and video, too.

ACA’s redesigned website incorporates several new features, including a dedicated Advocacy tab that outlines the issues in which the association focuses its efforts on behalf of industry. News related to each advocacy issue is also highlighted.

ACA’s updated site employs a responsive design so that users have the same readability and navigation experience on mobile devices, including phones and tablets.

A encourages members and non-members alike to visit the enriched website at www.paint.org.
